Summary

It’s Christmas Eve! After 1,000 years of faithful service, Santa and Mrs. Claus announce their decision to hang up the big red suit and train a replacement. Enter Nick: a website designer and single dad to tech-savvy daughter, Bee. With pressures mounting – and a jealous, naughty elf thwarting their every move – will everyone in Santa’s Workshop come together in time for Nick to take the reins?

SANTA CLAUS – Male. The man himself! However, after being the man for 1,000 years, he’s finally ready to pass on the reins and find someone new to fill his boots.
MRS. CLAUS – Female. As the saying goes, behind every great man is an even greater woman. She has a heart of gold, and a little bit of sass for good measure.
HENCHY – Male. Santa’s “Head Elf” in charge of mission control. He has the most Christmas spirit of anyone in Santa’s Workshop, but can be a bit of a stick in the mud when it comes to all the rules and regulations. Henchy dreams of becoming the new Santa Claus. 
NICK – Male. A website designer and single dad to Beatrice, Nick has no idea what it takes to be Santa Claus. At first he doesn’t have the closest relationship with his daughter, but the two form a close bond over the course of the show.
BEATRICE (BEE) – Female. Nicholas’ daughter who is a computer whiz and problem solver. Extremely mature and independent, Bee comes to the rescue more than a few times to help out her Dad and save Christmas.
TENCHY – Female. The nervous and athletic of The 3 Lady Elves trio.
CHIRPY – Female. The happy optimist of the group.
PUNCHY – Female. The irritable, bookish elf who develops quite a fondness for the new Santa.

Elf Ensemble
You can fill your ensemble with as many worker Elves as you like! These guys are most useful in “Christmas Eve”, “Jingle Jam,” “Naughty or Nice”, “Santa.com”, “Christmas Eve (Reprise)” and “Merry Christmas to Us All,” as well as in scene transitions. 

Reindeer Ensemble
Our original production featured 8 adorable children used at key moments, but you could also use puppets or supplement with other ensemble members.

Elf Ensemble
You can fill your ensemble with as many worker Elves as you like! These guys are most useful in “Christmas Eve”, “Jingle Jam,” “Naughty or Nice”, “Santa.com”, “Christmas Eve (Reprise)” and “Merry Christmas to Us All,” as well as in scene transitions.
